Mechanical Design Manager

Responsibilities: Lead mechanical design projects from concept through production Design equipment layouts, consoles, racks, and related interior components using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCADManage multiple projects and priorities in a deadline-driven environment Provide technical guidance and oversight to mechanical designers Coordinate with engineering teams, vendors, and customers to resolve design and production issues Support designs involving fabricated metal, composite, wood, and 3D-printed components Incorporate airflow, acoustical, electrical, and equipment requirements into mechanical designs

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, or related field preferred; associate degree may be considered with strong relevant experience 7+ years of mechanical design experience, including project or team leadership responsibilities Experience designing equipment or systems for broadcast, television production, mobile production, or a closely related technical environment Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCADExperience with Autodesk Vault or similar design/document management software Familiarity with broadcast equipment racks and technical equipment integration Working knowledge of HVAC airflow and acoustical design considerations Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and provide direction to a technical design team Strong problem-solving, communication, and vendor coordination skills Additional experience with CFD tools, electrical design standards, or vehicle/mobile equipment design is a plus.
