Procurement Specialist

Role: Procurement Specialist

Compensation: $30 to $40 an hour - this is a FULL TIME DIRECT HIRE paid on an hourly basis with overtime eligibility. Join a growing manufacturing company as a Procurement Specialist responsible for ensuring the timely procurement of raw materials, packaging, MRO, services, and indirect supplies to support production operations.

Key Responsibilities: Manage purchasing, inventory levels, and material availability based on forecasts and production requirements. Source raw materials, packaging, MRO, operating supplies, and services. Build supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and terms, and resolve supply issues. Monitor supplier performance and identify cost savings and process improvements. Partner with Operations, Production, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Finance teams. Maintain procurement data, contracts, pricing, and purchasing activity within the ERP system. Support inventory control, cycle counts, reconciliations, and reporting.

Requirements: 5+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience, preferably in manufacturing. Strong experience with inventory management, supplier management, and purchasing best practices. Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience (Dynamics AX preferred).Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
