Tax Professional (Senior)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Run client engagements from start to finish, which includes planning, executing, directing, and completing tax projects and managing to budget; Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns on tax projects and assess the performance of staff for engagement reviews; perform in-charge role as needed; Deliver a full range of U.S. tax services for international clients, including tax return preparation and review, tax research, preparation and review of technical memorandums, and drafting client correspondence; Review tax returns prepared by staff and make recommendations on return preparation regarding accuracy and tax savings opportunities; gain increasing responsibility in the review process; Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities.

Requirements: Either Certification in Public Accounting (CPA) or MBA in Accounting; Strong tax accounting skills with solid experience in U.S. GAAP, tax compliance, corporate consolidated returns, and international involvement; Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships; Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and attention to detail; German language a definite “plus” but not a requirement; U.S. Visa or work permit.
