Part-Time General Music Instructor (Ages 6-14)

The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division's Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in Chicago is seeking a part-time General Music Instructor to lead introductory group music classes for ages 6–14. The role includes curriculum development, assessments, and collaboration with community partners to expand music programs. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Music, have 3+ years of teaching experience, and can design engaging lessons using Kodaly/Orff-inspired approaches.
