Shop Mechanic

About the Position: Position: Shop Mechanic Location: Houston, TX Pay: $20-$35 per hour (Negotiable based on experience)

Full Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, ESOP The Shop Mechanic is responsible for: Maintaining and repairing diesel trucks, ranging in size from tractors/trailers to medium duty trucks Maintaining and repairing the mounted contractor's equipment contained on vehicles Documenting preventive maintenance efforts as required to achieve compliance with D.O.T. regulations Requirements: Valid Driver's License required (CDL Preferred), or willing to obtain a CDL B with Air Brake within 90 days. 5 years of experience with BIT inspections Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems Ability to pass safety training exams and the background check required Prioritize safety, is conscientious, dependable and quality-minded. 2-5 years of diesel mechanic experience.
