The Recordings Specialist is responsible for ensuring documents are properly prepared, submitted, and recorded in a timely manner. This position plays a critical role in the post-closing process, helping ensure smooth, compliant, and on-time transactions. The right candidate is dependable, proactive, and comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities:
Review and prepare recordable documents for accuracy and compliance
Submit documents for county recording and track completion status
Communicate with title officers, lenders, agents, and clients to resolve recording issues
Update transaction systems with recording details and status update
Qualifications:
1+ year of experience in a title insurance recordings role
Post-closing experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Experience with Soft Pro title software is a plus
