Library Operations Assistant For this position, the student must qualify for student work study. This position will assist with library operations, archives and mail services and patron services associated with the Service desk.
Examples Of Duties: Patron services associated with the Service desk. Assisting with library operations, archives and mail services. Sanitizing and cleaning patron used areas Work at the information desk, greeting and assisting patrons with locating materials, checking items in and out, and providing basic library information Double check in materials and re-magnetize. Cart materials in LC Call number order Shifting books for stacks maintenance Inventory Assist in processing UBorrow and ILLiad using ALMA.Assist in Archives and Digital Repository Assist with displays and events Assist with sanitizing Mail services Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications: Good academic standing, customer service oriented, reliable, ability to push/pull 25lbs and proficiency with LC call numbers All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring immigration sponsorship, including but not limited to non-immigrant visas, such as H1B, STEM, or F1, now and in the future.
