Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Delaware Early Childhood Special Education certification (required)
- Demonstrated experience with early childhood populations, specifically ages 3-5Background in addressing varied disabilities and adapting instruction accordingly
- Skilled in managing negative behaviors using evidence-based strategies
- Enthusiasm for working with young learners and fostering early development
- Strong communication skills with families, colleagues, and related service providers
- Commitment to inclusive, developmentally-appropriate practices in classroom settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students with a variety of disabilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored for early learners
