Financial Accounting Manager - WV Public Broadcasting - Kanawha Co.

Financial Accounting Manager West Virginia Public Broadcasting is looking for an individual to fill the full-time position of Financial Accounting Manager. The Financial Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of West Virginia Public Broadcasting including but not limited to budgeting, reporting, and compliance. They will lead the business office team operations in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and ensure strong financial controls. Additionally, they will be responsible for compliance and reporting to the State of West Virginia. The Financial Accounting Manager will work with the nonprofits that support West Virginia Public Broadcasting by providing financial information and reports and will oversee and be responsible for the external audit.

Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with a wide variety of organizations, agencies, and individuals. Preferred education and experience: Master's degree Knowledge of state government and non-profits Interest in public broadcasting Job not in the classified service.
