About the Role:
The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President for MADE/MiNY, a key role in the organization's mission to foster inclusive innovation and economic growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight, development, and direct management of real estate strategies and asset-specific management plans. This includes the implementation of industrial campus planning, redevelopment, and placemaking strategies to ensure diverse tenant mixes and vibrant, growth-oriented environments. The role also involves coordinating with various departments to advance large-scale and strategic capital initiatives, managing the preparation of contracts and reports, and ensuring a high standard of service delivery to tenants and programming partners. The Assistant Vice President will be a pivotal figure in the company's efforts to create a globally competitive economy, with a focus on job creation, energy efficiency, and the advancement of the site as a hub for innovation and community vitality. Applicants for the Assistant Vice President position should have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and at least 5 years' of experience in urban planning, real estate development, architecture, engineering, construction management, asset management, or a related field. Proficiency in construction, building management, and maintenance software is preferred. The role requires an independent and strategic thinker with a detail-oriented project management skill set, demonstrated communication and analytical skills, and experience in NYC real estate and market research. The ideal candidate will be a New York City resident or willing to relocate within 180 days of hire, and must be adept at managing internal and external planning processes, as well as supporting the development of new concepts and standards.
