People Operations Lead - HR, Payroll & Compliance

Kernel is hiring its first People team member to own HR and people operations end-to-end for a ~30-person team across San Francisco, New York, Cincinnati, and remote. This hands-on IC will handle onboarding, payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee relations, and build scalable systems as the company grows. You’ll work with recruiting on offers and onboarding. As Kernel scales, there is opportunity to grow into building a team and shaping culture across offices.
