Pay Range: $21+/hr DOE
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday Friday | Day and Swing Shifts Available
Location: Lake Oswego, OR

Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flexographic Press Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed labels and packaging materials that meet customer specifications. The ideal candidate has experience operating flexographic presses, enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and is committed to producing quality work while maintaining safety and equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret job orders, work instructions, and production specifications
  • Set up flexographic printing presses for production
  • Start and operate printing presses
  • Run approval samples and inspect printed materials before full production begins
  • Inspect printed product throughout production for quality issues
  • Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards
  • Mix inks to achieve proper color matching and viscosity requirements
  • Clean printing plates, cylinders, dies, and press components
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
  • Maintain accurate production documentation and communicate production issues to supervisors
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with company housekeeping standards
  • Follow all company safety procedures and quality control requirements
  • Qualifications & SkillsHigh school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 1 year of flexographic printing press experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read and interpret production documents and work orders
  • Ability to perform basic math
  • Ability to accurately read rulers, scales, and precision measuring devices
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs, with or without mechanical assistance
  • Frequent standing and walking throughout the workday
  • Ability to perform repetitive production tasks
  • Strong manual dexterity for machine setup and adjustments
  • Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus are required
  • Comfortable working around industrial printing equipment and production machinery
