Plant Coordinator - Days

Summary: Responsible for supporting plant and warehouse operations by receiving, tracking, transporting, and staging ingredients and packaging materials, operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment, adhering to GMP and compliance requirements, and collaborating with team members to ensure safe and efficient production processes.

Essential Duties: Support the plant in accounting for packaging and ingredient usage. Support the Warehouse on daily receiving. Possess a high degree of initiative and flexibility along with the ability to multi-task, accurately prepare & maintain all area paperwork. Deliver mixing ingredients via truck from dry goods area to processing plant Pick and palletize ingredients, moving to truck using a forklift Use the team approach in dealing with other supervisors and peers within the facility and respect the decisions made by them. Practice GMP’s and support audits, inspections and compliance Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred Must have valid drivers license Prefer knowledge of manufacturing and warehouse plant operations and procedures Must be able to use a lift truck, electric and manual pallet Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in whole numbers Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which are subject to evening shifts, weekends, and holidays. Must be highly proficient in MS Office specifically Word and Excel
