As a Mathnasium Instructor, you will work closely with students to help them develop math skills, boost their confidence, and achieve academic success. What you will do as a Math Instructor / Tutor: Teach math to studentsin grades K-12 using the Mathnasium Method. Provideindividualized instructionbased on each student’s learning plan. Utilize the Socratic methodto guide students through problem-solving. Maintain apositive and encouraginglearning environment. Work withmultiple students simultaneouslywhile ensuring their progress. Track and record student performance and progress in Mathnasium’s system. Communicate with the Center Directorand team regarding student development.. Support center operations, including preparing materials and maintaining a clean workspace. What we are looking for in a Math Instructor / Tutor: Strong math competency through Algebra II (or higher preferred). Passion forteaching and working with kids. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability toengage and motivate studentsin a fun, supportive environment. Previous tutoring or teaching experience is aplus but not required. Must be available to workafternoons, evenings, and/or weekendsas needed. As part of our hiring process here at Mathnasium, all applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.
