Responsibilities: Construction Surveillance Technicians are responsible for positioning and maintenance of traffic control devices on roadway construction projects. Successful applicants will be trained to set up, move and re-position traffic control devices on a roadway construction project. It is the responsibility of the surveillance technician to make trips through the work zone and check the placement of devices on an hourly basis throughout the shift. No experience required; new hires will be trained in classroom and on-the-job. Abilities / Skills Follow the Safety handbook. Must be at least 23 years of age. Clean driving record. Conduct yourself as a professional with co-workers and public. Work away from home. Report to work at the designated start time. Work overtime. Work outside in all-weather conditions. Be a team player. Lift 80+ lbs. Communicate well with others. Willingness to learn; new hires will be trained in classroom and on the job. This is a position that requires safety to be put first, as you will be working near traffic and other contractors. PPE (hard hat, safety vest, eye protection, gloves) is required and successful applicants will need to provide proper footwear and attire.
