ARRT Radiologic Tech

Key Responsibilities: Follow instructions from Physicians regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging. Talk the patient through the procedural steps and answer questions to lower their anxiety. Correctly position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment to the specified position. Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure both to themselves and to the patient. Follow correct techniques and procedures such as patient shielding. Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records. Manage the radiology supplies inventory by monitoring stock levels, forecasting future needs, and placing timely orders. Ensure a safe and clean working environment.

Education: Associate or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or a related field. Certification / Licenses: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in X-ray. State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist. Current BLS for healthcare provider CPR/AED certification.

Skills: Strong knowledge of X-ray equipment operation, safety protocols, and imaging techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
