Dump Truck Driver - Hampton RoadsMajor Role and Purpose: Drives Dump Trucks for transporting construction materials to and from jobs and plant locations. Description of Duties: Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task. Safety maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions. May perform other related duties, such as lifting & moving transported material. Inspect truck equipment and supplies in accordance with CDL pre-trip guidelines. Use hand tools when necessary. Oil, lubricate, and/or general maintenance of equipment may be required. Knowledge of DOT standards and requirements and adhere to same. Maintain daily log. Understanding verbal & written directions, GPS. Able to communicate with management & foreman on job sites. Perform all other duties deemed necessary or assigned.
