Quality Auditor 2nd Shift

Overview: This role is crucial for ensuring the highest quality standards for dashboard assemblies, subcomponents, and materials, stringent customer (Tesla) quality:

Shift: 2nd Shift

Hours: 2:00PM - 10:30 PM

Responsibilities: Inspect dashboard assemblies, subcomponents, and materials for conformance to engineering drawings, control plans, and customer (Tesla) quality standards. Perform in-process and final inspections utilizing various tools including gauges, calipers, vision systems, and visual criteria to identify defects such as fit, finish, surface flaws, and functional issues. Document inspection results, nonconformances, and containment actions accurately within quality systems; support traceability and audit readiness. Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to troubleshoot defects, support root cause analysis, and verify corrective actions. Adhere to all safety, quality, and cleanliness requirements typical of automotive and EV interior component manufacturing environments.

Qualifications: Proven experience as a Quality Inspector, preferably in assembly or mechanical manufacturing. Strong understanding of assembly processes and mechanical components. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical with precision measurement tools. Excellent attention to detail and observational skills.
