The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst and Queens is seeking a full-time Pediatric Physiatrist. This role offers an opportunity to work with an urban, ethnically diverse, and underserved population in a dynamic academic setting. The selected physician will join the pediatric faculty to provide ambulatory care and inpatient consultations across both hospital locations. Practice Info Ambulatory sessions at Elmhurst Hospital CenterInpatient consults in the Level 3 NICU at Elmhurst Ambulatory sessions at Queens Hospital CenterInpatient consults in the Level 3 NICU at Queens Position sits operationally within both Pediatric departments and is appointed in the joint Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Shift & Schedule Full-time employment
Responsibilities:
- Provide services to ambulatory patients
- Provide inpatient consults to neonates at both hospitals
- Conduct two to three days per week of ambulatory sessions at Elmhurst Hospital CenterProvide inpatient consults in the Level 3 NICU at Elmhurst
- Conduct one to two days per week of ambulatory sessions at Queens Hospital CenterProvide inpatient consults in the Level 3 NICU at QueensTeach residents and medical students
- CompensationSalary ranges from $236,000 to $241,000 Faculty practice distributions throughout the academic year
Qualifications:
- MD/DO degree
- Board eligible or certified in Physiatry
- Fellowship trained Pediatric Physiatrist
- Valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number
