Industrial Maintenance Technician

ALPLA Inc., a global leader in plastic packaging, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our high-volume manufacturing operations. In this role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and packaging equipment, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, and help minimize downtime in a safety- and quality-focused environment. You’ll collaborate with production and engineering teams, support equipment installations and changeovers, and contribute to continuous improvement while working with modern, sustainable manufacturing technologies. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime Support equipment setups, changeovers, and calibrations for production lines Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and work orders in CMMS Follow and promote safety, quality, and GMP standards in all maintenance tasks Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability Assist in installation and commissioning of new machinery and upgrades Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain tools, spare parts, and work areas in an organized, audit-ready condition Industrial equipment maintenance Mechanical troubleshooting Electrical troubleshooting Pneumatic and hydraulic systems Preventive maintenance CMMS usage Reading technical schematics PLC familiarity Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Root cause analysis Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Industrial Maintenance Certification or equivalent technical training Electrical or Mechatronics certification preferred Lockout/Tagout and safety training Forklift or aerial lift certification a plus
