Inpatient Rehabilitation Registered Nurse

Encompass Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care, coordinate and implement individualized rehab plans, and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team. You will monitor patient progress, educate patients and families, and ensure compliance with clinical standards and safety protocols. Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. Advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management. Liaise with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions. Maintain accurate patient reports and medical histories, administer medication and treatments, and observe legal and ethical guidelines. Proficient in clinical skills with an ability to handle medical equipment. Strong ability to work within a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Empathy and a compassionate approach to patient care. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
