Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist St. Augustine, Florida Part-Time or Full-Time
Compensation: $300,000 $425,000 annually
New Adolescent Inpatient Program Opening This Fall A new adolescent inpatient psychiatric unit in St. Augustine, FL is scheduled to open in late October 2026, and we are seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the program. This will be a small, focused unit, with the census expected to reach approximately 8 adolescent patients by the end of the year. This structure allows for flexibility, with the opportunity to consider either a part-time morning schedule or a full-time position.
Position Highlights: $300,000 $425,000 annual compensation Part-time or full-time opportunities Morning schedule available for part-time physicians New adolescent inpatient program Small initial patient census Opportunity to help establish and grow a new service Collaborative multidisciplinary clinical environment
Responsibilities:
  • Provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment for adolescent inpatients
  • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
  • Monitor clinical progress and adjust treatment as appropriate
  • Collaborate with nursing, therapists, social workers, and other members of the care team
  • Participate in treatment planning and discharge coordination
  • Communicate with families and other involved providers as appropriate
Qualifications:
  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in
  • Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Active or eligible
  • Florida medical license
  • Inpatient psychiatric experience preferred
  • Experience working with adolescent populations strongly preferred
