Laundry 2 Position The primary purpose of the position is to keep Laundry 2 supplied with product and paperwork and packout the product that is made.
Responsibilities:
  • Meets regular and reliable work-site attendance requirements in order to perform the job and meet productivity standards.
  • Read production drawings
  • Makes folders and prints labels for Laundry 2Orders kits in IFSKits the orders once the products arrive
  • Performs packout function for finished goods
  • Loads washers
  • Completes performance paperwork
  • Conducts quality testing on autotubes and inputs results into control plan in IFSCompletes computer work in IFS including shop order issuing and closing of orders.
  • Communicates to Hot Wire Operator what is needed for orders.
  • Notifies Cutting Lead of any non-conformance.
  • Participates in periodic training programs regarding safety, product specifications; quality; and operation.
  • Participates and works within ISO 9001-2008 quality standards guidelines in accordance with Contec's quality goals.
  • Others may be assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements: High school diploma or GED plus 3 months or more related experience or training.

Employee must frequently be able to remain in a stationary position. Employee must be able to move, traverse. Employees will move around the room to different work stations. The Employee must be able to position self (to), move. The employee must constantly transport and/or move up to 30 pounds and push/pull/lift up to 40 pounds. Employees must be able to constantly bend at the waist in a repetitive motion. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Employees in this area are required to wear hairnets, bearnets, nitrile gloves, and steel toed shoes which are all provided by Contec.
