Senior Accountant - Implementation Project - REMOTE

UpRecruit has partnered with a leading real estate development and hospitality company to hire a Senior Accountant for its corporate headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona. This is an opportunity to join an established, growing organization with an impressive portfolio of high-end residential communities and resorts across the U.You'll play a key role in corporate accounting, financial reporting, and supporting a complex, multi-entity business. Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and general ledger analysis Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Support consolidated financial statements and monthly management reporting Manage AP/AR activities and reconcile subsidiary ledgers to the general ledger Handle intercompany accounting and transactions across multiple entities Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with US GAAPPrepare schedules and documentation for external audits Partner with accounting leadership and other departments to resolve accounting issues Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting Support special projects and evolving priorities as the business grows Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field~3–5 years of progressive accounting experience in corporate accounting or public accounting~ Experience preparing financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules~ Exposure to consolidated financial reporting and multi-entity accounting~ Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs~ CPA or active pursuit of CPA licensure is a plus~ Real estate, hospitality, or multi-entity accounting experience is a plus Gain exposure to complex accounting across multiple entities and business operations Work closely with experienced accounting leadership and cross-functional teams Opportunity to improve processes, take ownership of key accounting functions, and grow professionally Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and paid holidays Bbased at the company's corporate office.
