This position offers the opportunity to work from our office in Quarryville or Elizabethtown, PA.What You'll Do as a Senior Accountant Prepare individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns, and research tax issues and strategies to support client objectives. Review tax return data, resolve technical tax issues, and respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities. Prepare financial statements, including preparation, compilation, and review, using GAAP and income tax basis accounting. Research tax regulations and financial reporting requirements to provide practical, well-informed solutions for clients. Support bookkeeping needs by preparing journal entries, classifying transactions, and compiling accurate financial records. Build trusted relationships with clients and referral partners, including bankers, attorneys, and wealth advisors. Identify additional firm services that could benefit clients as their business and financial needs evolve. Develop your technical expertise through continuous learning, research, and collaboration with the team. Our Ideal Senior Accountant Experienced: 3+ years of public accounting experience preparing individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns. Technically Strong: Understands GAAP, financial statement preparation, and the bookkeeping process, with the ability to research tax and reporting requirements. Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; Quick Books experience is a plus. Qualified: Hold a bachelor's degree in accounting or an undergraduate degree with sufficient accounting coursework; CPA or EA credentials are preferred, with interest in pursuing the CPA welcomed. Client-Focused: Communicate clearly, manage priorities, build strong professional relationships, and approach client needs with practical solutions.
