Location: Stennis Space Center, Mississippi — 5 days onsite

About the Role:
We are looking for a Data Scientist to support data-driven solutions within a Global Defense/Maritime environment. The role will involve analyzing complex structured and unstructured data, developing predictive models, and applying machine learning and data visualization techniques to support mission-critical decisions.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in data exploration, cleaning, analysis, visualization, or data mining 5+ years of experience with statistical/general-purpose programming for data analysis
- Strong experience with Python, R, SQL, SAS, or MATLABExperience working with structured and unstructured data
- Experience developing predictive models, quantitative analyses, and data visualizations
- Experience with big data/distributed ecosystems such as Spark, Databricks, Elasticsearch, or NiFiKnowledge of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or NLPBachelor's degreeUS Citizen eligible for Secret clearance
- Navy + Data Science background is a major plus! Candidates with Navy experience and hands-on Data Science expertise are especially encouraged to apply,
