Mortgage Loan Processor We have a tremendous opportunity for someone with experience processing and closing mortgage and consumer loans. Our client is looking for someone to "own" the loan process from application to closing and be a vital part of the team. If you are looking for a place where you are more than a number, this is it.
Essential Functions:
- This position is responsible for processing and closing residential mortgages, home equity loans/lines, and consumer loans from application through funding.
- Process loans from application through closing and funding
- Review applications and documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Order and review appraisals, title work, flood certifications, and credit reports
- Prepare closing packages and required disclosures
- Coordinate closing schedules and funding wires
- Ensure underwriting conditions are satisfied before closing
- Maintain compliant loan files and accurate pipeline reporting
- Communicate with borrowers and internal/external partners throughout the process

- Here is what our client requires:1 - 3+ years of experience in mortgage processing, consumer loan processing, loan servicing, and/or lending operations
- Experience preparing and closing residential mortgages, HELOCs, home equity loans, and consumer loans
- Working knowledge of TRID disclosures (Loan Estimates, Closing Disclosures, Redisclosures)
- Experience coordinating with borrowers, lenders, underwriters, title companies, and appraisers
- Familiarity with loan origination systems. Vision experience is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree in business, Finance, Banking or related field preferred. Experience outweighs education.
