Apply for this role →Enterprise Data Governance Leader In this role you will lead the enterprise data governance framework to ensure data is trusted, well-defined and secure across the data lifecycle. You will partner with data, business, risk and technology teams to set standards, metadata, quality and governance processes. You will own governance tooling and integration for data cataloging, lineage, access, protection and quality to enable compliant, high-quality data. You will shape AI and regulatory governance while driving adoption of governance practices across the organization. Responsibilities:
Develop and manage an adaptive data governance strategy aligned to business needs, regulatory requirements and AI governance Establish policies for data management, privacy, risk mitigation and ethical governance Define data quality standards with controls and compensating controls across data functions Lead the data governance team in tooling adoption, integration patterns and metadata management Evolve governance tooling that supports human trust and AI-enabled data Collaborate with technology and data owners to implement data policy and robust workflows Build strategic internal and external relationships to influence decisions and support regulatory and client engagements Govern third-party data governance and licensing with market data teams
Key requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent 15-20 years of industry experience, with 5+ years in asset management data governance or related field Proven track record developing and leading data governance programs Strong knowledge of privacy laws, regulatory compliance and risk management Experience with data governance tools and AI considerations Leadership experience developing and growing a data governance team Excellent communication, negotiation and strategic influence skills Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership and project management skills Solid understanding of data governance frameworks, tools and best practices Expertise with investment data governance Ability to work collaboratively and independently in demanding environments Strict attention to detail and accuracy
