Principal Mechanical Engineer – Data Center Design - Mission Critical

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in producing mechanical engineering documents, including design tasks, calculations, AutoCAD and Revit drawings. - Support pre-construction activities by surveying, data collection, and preparing project documents. - Participate in construction activities such as reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and project closeout. - Prepare progress reports and manage project documentation. - Leverage AI and digital tools to improve efficiency and quality. - Complete tasks accurately, on time, and within budget.

REQUIREMENTS: -Minimum of three years mechanical engineering experience - Knowledge of mechanical systems design, codes, and specifications. - Familiarity with DDC controls, electrical systems for HVAC, and fire protection devices. - Skilled in MS Office and design software (Revit). - Ability to perform load and ventilation calculations and size ductwork and piping. - Strong communication and organizational skills to work effectively remotely and in teams. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. - Willingness to travel up to 10% within the U.S. EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering plus a minimum of three years mechanical engineering experience. SALARY OFFEREDThe pay range for this role is based on the experience level.
