Apply for this role →Pediatric Hospitalist Opportunity AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are seeking a dynamic and energetic Part-Time Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team at AdventHealth Tampa, working in partnership with AdventHealth for Children/Walt Disney Pavilion in Orlando. This position offers the opportunity to practice within a growing, collaborative network providing comprehensive pediatric care across Central Florida.
Position Highlights:
- Provide pediatric admissions for our 15-bed Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit
- Support emergency department pediatric consults and participate in daily family-centered rounding
- Provide coverage in the Level I Newborn Nursery with the support of an Advanced Practice Provider
- Flexible schedule: approximately 7 twelve-hour shifts per month (days, nights, and weekends)
- On-site pediatric support includes:28-bed Level III NICU with 24/7 Neonatologist coverage5-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with intensivist coverage
- Pediatric surgery and medical specialty services available

AdventHealth Tampa has partnered with AdventHealth for Children with a shared vision to deliver exceptional pediatric care, keeping children close to home while maintaining seamless access to quaternary-level services in Orlando. This collaboration provides direct connectivity to a nationally recognized children's hospital network offering specialized pediatric expertise when needed.
Candidate Requirements:
Board Certification/Eligibility through the American Board of Pediatrics Strong teamwork, communication skills, and patient-centered approach
