Computer Support Specialist The PMO is seeking to hire a Computer Support Specialist from the Admin Services Contract to perform Quality Assurance testing.
Job Duties:
- Developing test plans
- Writing detailed test cases based on project requirements
- Performing manual testing of DFS applications
- Identifying and documenting bugs in DFS' Jira environment
- Validating fixes by retesting identified bugs
Designing and executing manual and automated test plans for new features and releases.
Building and maintaining a regression test suite to catch issues before they reach production.
Performing exploratory testing to catch edge cases automated tests may miss.
Partnering with engineers early in the development process to define acceptance criteria and testable requirements.
Tracking, prioritizing, and reporting on defects to ensure timely resolution.
Establishing QA metrics (defect escape rate, test coverage, time-to-detect) to measure quality improvements over time
