BIM Coordinator

Salary: $85,000–$115,000

Schedule: Full-time, in office five days per week An established architecture firm in New York City is seeking a BIM Coordinator to support design teams working on large-scale, complex projects. The role combines hands-on Revit support, model coordination and workflow development, with opportunities to train and mentor team members. The ideal candidate has approximately 5–7 years of architectural experience, strong documentation skills and a practical understanding of how BIM supports projects through design and construction.

Responsibilities: Maintain model quality, resolve coordination issues and help teams meet project delivery requirements. Establish project BIM standards and support consistent use across teams. Coordinate clash detection, model reviews and ongoing quality checks. Improve workflows for model management, reporting and data tracking. Provide Revit troubleshooting, onboarding and training. Support collaboration between internal teams and external project partners. Assist with advanced modeling and cloud-based project coordination.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering or a related field. Approximately 5–7 years of architectural experience, ideally on large-scale projects. At least five years of Revit experience, with strong modeling and documentation skills. Familiarity with tools such as Dynamo and Navisworks. Strong communication skills and the ability to support and train colleagues. Knowledge of BIM information management standards is a plus.
