Market Risk Analyst

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Support the Risk Control New York team in the timely reporting of risk and revenues, spread analysis, liquidity risk monitoring, provide assistance to front office inimplementation of new products and/or strategies and review and provide assessment ofcorporate clients’ activities, investigate potential risks and assess those risk reporting tomanager timely· Provide regular information to senior management· Establish regular contact with other locations· Communicate and co-ordinate with other risk control relevant departments in the regions· Respond efficiently to client queries and requests · Miscellaneous responsibilities as required Experience /Qualifications/Education:· Bachelor’s degree or similar level qualification; a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management preferred.· Should possess a strong mathematical background, with the ability to analyze data, solve problems and apply quantitative reasoning in a practical setting.· Knowledge and passion for finance industry.· The above responsibilities require an individual that is eager to learn and extremely self-motivated, has the capacity to work independently and coordinate efforts within and across the risk team.· Highly motivated and driven to succeed in a challenging environment.· Excellent interpersonal skills in both the written and verbal form.· Excellent Excel and Word skills, high level of computer literacy (VBA & SQL preferred).· Please note that the working hours for this role are 7:00am to 4:00pm and mayoccasionally be longer depending on workload as determined by manager.
