Coating Operator Opportunity With Staff Management | SMX, you'll get a weekly paycheck, learn new skills, meet new people, and work with a great management team in a clean and safe environment. Staff Management is seeking an experienced Coating Operator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in White, GA. The pay is $20-$24 per hour, with a Monday through Thursday schedule from 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM. A split shift is available on Fridays as overtime. If you are detail-oriented, skilled in Coating, and ready to grow with a dynamic team, we want to hear from you!

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $24.00 / hour
Duties:
  • Performs operational tasks, including moving, hanging, powder coating, taking down and checking goods without supervision
  • Receives and repacks goods
  • Makes the coating line production-ready
  • Correctly hangs and removes products
  • Checks parameter settings
  • Inspects products and carries out quality checks
  • Cleans the spray booth
  • Adjusts the coating line speed
  • Monitors the production process
  • Detects quality faults, breakdowns and production errors
  • Administrates and archives project data
  • Touches up the materials by spraying them manually
  • Works with an automated system and uses internal materials handling equipment, both manually operated and motorized
  • Works on series of products and the tasks are of a routine nature
Position Requirements:
  • Must have forklift certification
  • Must be able to follow and understand instructions
  • Ability to work safe and knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • Ability to work in a team environment and be a team player
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow blueprints
  • Must have a strong willingness to learn
  • Must be able to work with little supervision
  • Must monitor and maintain quality
  • Must be able to identify process improvement
  • Must be able to operate technical equipment
  • Must have 2 years of painting experience in a similar environment
Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Must be at least 18 years old. Able to Lift 75 pounds., required education: HS Diploma or GED.
