Apply for this role →To support a growing cloud-accounting practice, the full-time Client Accounting Lead will oversee bookkeeping and finance processes for multiple clients while managing a team and ensuring high-quality service delivery in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
Manage full-charge bookkeeping and finance processes for 10-20 clients, including invoicing, payroll, and monthly close
Collaborate with the support team to delegate tasks, review work, and provide coaching to ensure quality service delivery
Act as the primary client contact, addressing inquiries and suggesting process improvements to enhance client satisfaction
Required qualifications:
5+ years of multi-client cloud accounting experience, including payroll and financial reporting, with proficiency in QBO, BILL, and Gusto
Strong knowledge of accrual accounting processes and experience maintaining audit-ready schedules for non-bank balance sheet accounts
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA firm experience is a plus
Proven ability to coach and mentor junior staff effectively
Strong resourcefulness and problem-solving skills, with a desire for continuous improvement
