Building Maintenance Technician

Custodial Technician1st & 2nd Shift Available $18-$20 per hour

Maintain records of cleaning schedules, maintenance tasks, and repairs to comply with school policies and health standards. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND/OR ABILITIESAble to work with various hand tools, power tools, lawn and garden equipment, and other power equipment, including floor scrubbers, buffers and vacuums Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) and perform physically demanding tasks. Detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to take initiative Ability to relate to a variety of persons PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTA candidate must be able to lift 50 pounds and move heavy objects, stand or walk for extended periods, and work in varying weather conditions. Evening and weekend work will be required. On-call availability may also be required. EDUCATION, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in custodial, maintenance, or facilities work, preferably in an educational or religious institution.
