Lab Crusher Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Lab Crushers for a mining and materials testing company in Hibbing, MN. In this role, you'll help prepare core and rock samples for laboratory testing while supporting quality analysis processes in a safety-focused environment. Operate crushing, screening, and sample preparation equipment Process core, rock, ore, and aggregate samples into testable sizes for laboratory analysis Label, organize, and track samples accurately throughout the testing process Clean and maintain crushing equipment, laboratory tools, and work areas Inspect equipment and report maintenance issues or safety concerns Record sample information and production data accurately Assist with laboratory testing and quality control activities as needed High school diploma or GED preferred Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and wear required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toe boots Previous mining, aggregate, manufacturing, construction materials, or laboratory experience is helpful but not required Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply Enjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
