Apply for this role →To support preclinical toxicology studies, the full-time remote Senior Research Pathologist will perform macroscopic and microscopic tissue evaluations, supervise necropsies, and write comprehensive reports detailing test article effects.
Key responsibilities:
Conduct tissue evaluations and interpret findings for assigned studies
Provide training and technical guidance to laboratory staff and less experienced pathologists
Act as a study pathologist or peer reviewer, diagnosing disease/toxicity using laboratory techniques
Required qualifications:
D.V.M. or Ph. D., with a strong preference for a diplomat of A.C.V.P., J.C.V.P., E.C.V.P., or R.C.P
Minimum of 5 years of toxicologic pathology experience in a GLP environment
Experience with evaluation of special stains and IHC, or specialty pathology expertise
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and pathology data management systems
Ability to effectively present information to clients and regulatory agencies
