About the Organization: Alvita Psychotherapy Center, located in the vibrant city of San Jose, California, is an outpatient facility renowned for its commitment to trauma-informed care. Our team is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment tailored to the unique needs of trauma survivors. We specialize in the treatment of various trauma-related conditions, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders, making an essential impact in the lives of our patients.
Work Environment: This position is primarily remote, offering flexibility while allowing our therapists to maintain a balance between professional responsibilities and personal well-being. Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive the necessary care when they need it most. Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, empowering them with valuable resources. Document patient interactions and care plans accurately and confidentially, adhering to all legal and ethical standards. Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focused on advancing trauma-informed care practices.
