Employee Value Proposition: In this position you will support commercial construction projects by installing plumbing systems and related materials. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Assist with commercial plumbing installation from underground/rough-ins, stack out to trim outs on large scale commercial and industrial construction projects such as, healthcare, government, educational, manufacturing, data centers and others Install hangers and supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation for water, gas, compressed air, medical gas, or other liquids Regular use of basic hand tools and ability to read a tape measure Assist with the installation of materials such as copper, steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, PEX, and other piping Duties could include assisting with setting grease traps, decontamination tanks, oil interceptors, lint interceptors, utility hookups, etc Able to work off ladders, man lifts and other equipment from various heights Perform other related duties or special projects, as assigned Other duties as assigned Skills needed from the Ideal Candidate 3 years of commercial plumbing experience preferred Current / valid apprentice license in applicable state Willingness to learn to read blueprints and shop drawing Knowledge of basic and tools and ability to read a tape measure preferredOSHA 10-hour preferred High school diploma or GED preferred Basic math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, to perform routine measurements and calculations. Ability to work with fractions, percentages, and decimals.

  • Ability to stand, squat, bend, kneel, climb, and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs
