Charles P. Johnson & Associates (CPJ) is looking for a Systems & Network Technician to join our team and help support the technology that keeps our employees connected and productive. In this hands-on role, you will support more than 100 users across multiple office locations while working with end-user technology, servers, networks, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity tools, mobile devices, cloud services, and business applications. You will also have opportunities to contribute to technology modernization, automation, and emerging technologies.
What You'll Do:
Provide friendly, responsive technical support to employees in the office, remotely, and in the field.
Troubleshoot and support computers, mobile devices, printers, software, and connectivity issues.
Support Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Hyper-V.Help maintain servers, networks, VPNs, wireless connectivity, backups, and disaster recovery systems.
Support cybersecurity tools, endpoint protection, access controls, and security best practices.
Support SharePoint, mobile device management, and other collaboration technologies.
Help maintain CAD workstations and technology that supports engineering, GIS, surveying, and project teams.
Contribute to cloud migration, infrastructure improvements, automation, cybersecurity, and other technology initiatives.
Explore emerging tools, including Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled business applications, and identify opportunities to improve how we work.
What You'll BringAn associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Three or more years of technical support experience in a business environment.
Experience with Windows 10/11 and Windows Server.
Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Hyper-V.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
A customer-focused approach and the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
The ability to manage multiple priorities, take initiative, and work independently when needed.
Even Better If You Have:
Experience with SharePoint, Intune, Azure, PowerShell, Veeam, mobile device management, cybersecurity, CAD/GIS or engineering applications, automation, APIs, cloud migration, or AI-enabled technologies is a plus.
