The Assistant Adjunct Professors are expected to serve for three years, with the initial appointment as Assistant Adjunct Professor being for one year and subject to renewal for the second and third years. Qualified candidates should be recent Ph.D. recipients (Ph.D. earned 2022-2027) in chemistry or biochemistry and have demonstrated excellence in their previous research and teaching positions. We welcome candidates whose experience in teaching, research, and community service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity and excellence. All applications must be uploaded through UCLA Academic Recruit. Candidates should provide a cover letter, which includes the names of three UCLA Chemistry & Biochemistry faculty members whose research is of interest to them; a curriculum vitae; a summary of research accomplishments; and a statement of teaching philosophy.
