Apply for this role →To support a growing practice, the full-time Virginia Licensed Accounting Supervisor will manage outsourced accounting services for multiple nonprofit clients, including month-end close work, financial statement preparation, and client communications, in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities:
Oversee client relationships and engagement teams while providing outsourced accounting services
Review and prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and financial statements
Prepare and review audit and 990 support schedules, communicating directly with clients on engagement matters
Required qualifications:
Four to six years of experience in public accounting, auditing, or nonprofit accounting roles
Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or license in progress preferred
Experience in the not-for-profit industry preferred
Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage Intacct and Quick Books
Strong Excel and MS Office skills
