Process Engineer - CIP Technical Lead

As a Process Engineer supporting our project in North Carolina, you  performing CIP shakedown, CIP troubleshooting, CIP cycle parameters development, cycle runs, and process performance. Duties may involve functional supervision; the coordination of subordinate technical staff and program or project activities with other divisions of a department and/or clients. Assignments are broad in scope with the opportunity to use independent judgment.  SHIFT WORK REQUIREDResponsibilities•    Provide subject matter expertise to key engineering projects to startup and cycle development projects.•    Directs other employees in the execution of a variety of projects.•    Reviews engineering specifications for compliance with ordinances and engineering requirements.•    Consult with clients/vendors as a department representative regarding major problems or developments.•    Prepares periodic reports and records.•    Advises and answers a variety of technical questions.•    Create cleaning cycle development strategies for a variety of equipment including process vessels and lines, chromatography skid/column, UF/DF skid, centrifuge, glass/parts washers, and portable processing equipment.•    Perform batch record review, including verifying calibration and in-process data.•    Perform piping design and flow calculations for CIP systems.•    Consult with clients/vendors as a department representative regarding major problems or development.•    Perform commissioning and provide automation support for CIP systems, including PLC and SCADA/Delta V systems.
