Job Description Description: The Electro/Mechanical Assembler I is responsible for building, testing, and inspecting electro-mechanical assemblies according to specifications. This may include system-level assembly, sub-assembly testing, reconditioned hardware, and packaging functions.
Key Responsibilities: Assemble sub-assemblies and system-level hardware. Build, test, and inspect electro-mechanical assemblies per specifications. Perform in-process sub-assembly testing of products being manufactured, as required. Complete Device History Record (DHR) data. Perform assembly and testing requirements for reconditioned hardware, when required. Perform packaging functions within Instruments Manufacturing, when required. Maintain compliance with Hologic policies, QSR, ISO, and EH&S requirements. Provide training as needed. Participate in reducing workplace risk and injury by identifying risks and implementing controls to eliminate or minimize hazards. Support internal departmental audits of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with Hologic policies, QSR, ISO, and EH&S requirements. Support day-to-day manufacturing and service operations, forecasting, regulatory compliance, and company policies. Perform other duties as required
