Description:
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a NICU/PICU/CVICU night shift position requiring NBRC credentialing, Ohio RRT license, and at least 2 years of pediatric critical care experience. Details Work within RRT-NICU, PICU, and CVICU units caring for pediatric patients High-acuity (level 4) NICU patient population Night shift, 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts (19:00-07:30) May float to Shaker Children's Rehab, Fairview NICU, Akron NICU, and Hillcrest NICU8-13 week contract length depending on assignment
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in PEDS, PICU, and NICU requiredNBRC certification requiredBLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS certifications required
- Ohio RRT license required in hand at time of submission (license required if applicable)
- Active certifications required; no pending certs accepted
- First-time travelers not considered
Additional Information:
- Provide respiratory care and neuro diagnostics support to critically ill pediatric patients across NICU, PICU, and CVICU units
- Smoke-free and nicotine-free facility with no exceptions
- Negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine/cotinine required within 12 months of start, updated annuallyCOVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical/religious exemptions only
- Two fingerprinting processes required, including one onsite prior to start
- Travelers expected to work every other holiday
- Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
- Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
- Assignments capped at 18 consecutive months, followed by a required 6-month break before returning to any Cleveland Clinic location
