Senior Musical Instrument Retail Sales Associate

Music & Arts is seeking a PT Senior Sales Associate for Store 4214. In this customer-facing retail role, you’ll help students, parents, and educators find the right band and orchestra instruments, accessories, and lesson options. You’ll drive sales, support rental programs, and provide exceptional service rooted in music education. Responsibilities include advising customers, processing sales and rentals, maintaining merchandising standards, and supporting store events. You’ll thrive in a collaborative, student-focused culture while contributing to a mission of expanding access to quality music education. Provide consultative sales support to students, parents, and educators for instruments, accessories, and lessons Process sales, rentals, returns, and repairs using POS systems with accurate cash handling Support school rental programs and promotions to grow student participation Maintain merchandising, pricing, and store presentation standards Assist with inventory receiving, stocking, and cycle counts Participate in in-store events and community outreach focused on music education Meet or exceed individual and store sales and service goals Collaborate with lesson, repair, and school service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience Retail sales Point-of-sale systems Customer service Product knowledge – musical instruments Merchandising Inventory management Cash handling Sales reporting Music notation basics Microsoft Office or similar Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Background in music performance or education preferred Knowledge of band and orchestra instruments Prior experience in specialty or music retail a plus
