Location: Fully remote, Dallas headquarters
Compensation: $180,000 - 230,000 base + discretionary bonus structure (short-term and long-term incentive)
Position Overview: Our Client is seeking a Power and Energy Attorney to join its legal team and support the company’s growing energy and infrastructure needs.
Key Responsibilities: Draft, review and negotiate Energy Services Agreements (ESAs), Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), and other power and energy-related commercial agreements. Partner closely with business, commercial, development, finance, and other internal teams on power procurement and energy-related transactions. Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice on the structuring, negotiation, and execution of complex energy arrangements. Identify and manage legal and commercial risks associated with power supply, energy procurement, and related infrastructure projects. Support transactions from initial term sheet through negotiation, execution, and implementation. Work with external counsel and counterparties as needed on sophisticated power and energy matters.
Qualifications: 3+ years experience drafting and negotiating Energy Services Agreements (ESAs) and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).J.D. or equivalent law degree and admission to at least one U.S. state bar. If this interests you, apply, or reach me directly: dhill@hpexec.com
