Senior Musical Instruments Sales Associate

Music & Arts is seeking a PT Senior Sales Associate for Store 5904. In this role, you’ll help students, parents, and educators find the right instruments, accessories, and lessons while delivering outstanding customer service. You will drive sales through product recommendations, instrument rentals, and lesson enrollment, operate the POS system, and accurately handle cash and transactions. Responsibilities include merchandising, inventory support, and maintaining a clean, engaging store environment. You’ll collaborate with a student-focused, service-driven team committed to music education, community engagement, and supporting local schools. Greet and assist customers, students, and educators with instrument, accessory, and lesson needs Recommend products and services to meet customer needs and drive sales Operate POS system, process payments, and handle cash accurately Support instrument rental programs and lesson sign-ups Maintain store appearance, merchandising, and product displays Assist with inventory counts, stocking, and receiving shipments Meet or exceed individual and store sales and service goals Collaborate with team members to support events and community outreach Provide basic product education on band and orchestra instruments Uphold company policies, procedures, and a student-focused culture Retail sales POS systems Customer service Cash handling Inventory management Merchandising Product knowledge – musical instruments Sales reporting Upselling and cross-selling Basic computer skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Background in music performance or education preferred Knowledge of band and orchestra instruments preferred
