Apply for this role →Resident In Counseling Compass is looking for professionals pursuing Virginia State Licensure as an LPC. Ideal candidates have an interest in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental challenges and have a desire to empower them and their families. As a Resident in Counseling in our program, you will have the opportunity to: Conduct comprehensive, diagnostic, behavioral health assessments for those seeking community-based services in collaboration with the supervising LMHP.Provide outpatient counseling services to children and their families affected by a variety of neurodevelopmental challenges. Provide home- and clinic-based ABA services, family support, parent training, and care coordination for youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental challenges. Compass is an enriching and supportive environment, with a focus on in-depth training and supervision. Residents in Counseling will: Participate in trainings and clinical supervision that focus on a holistic approach integrating behavioral therapy, Motivational Interviewing, TF-CBT, and other psychotherapeutic strategies. Other Requirements
Education:
Must have a minimum of a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, working towards licensure.
